This opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise to support a healthcare facility in Plymouth, NH, on a 13-week contract. The role focuses on delivering high-quality perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment, working primarily day shifts with a rotating late shift schedule.
Schedule and Hours:
- Four 10-hour day shifts per week
- Late shift rotation included
- Required holiday coverage for two of the following: Thanksgiving and the following Friday/weekend, Christmas Eve/Day and the following Friday/weekend, New Years Eve/Day and the following Friday/weekend
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert scrub and circulating nursing care during orthopedic and neurological surgeries
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for accurate documentation
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and protocols within perioperative care
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of current Operating Room experience
- Proven skills in both scrub and circulating roles
- Orthopedic and neurological surgery experience preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Current New Hampshire RN license (Compact license permitted)
- ACLS and BLS certification by the American Heart Association
