**Daily Adventures:**

Perfect the art of setting up and operating CNC and manual machinery, including turning, milling, and honing.
Monitor and manage multiple machines to optimize productivity.
Engage in the continuous enhancement of products and processes while collaborating with your peers.
Master the use of a variety of inspection instruments.
Contribute your expertise to train up-and-coming machinists.
Perform minor modifications and repairs to fixtures with ease.
Delve into blueprints and establish tool offsets with precision.
Initiate and support material prep and work orders ensuring seamless production flow.
Commit to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
Keep up with Smith & Nephew's stringent policies and international standards.

**To Excel in this Role, You Will Need:**

Education & Certifications:

High School diploma or equivalent, with a preference for Vocational education.
Certified operator status in applicable areas.

Experience & Expertise:

At least 2 years of experience with moderate to complex machining operations.
Proficiency in CNC milling and turning with a knack for solving geometry and trigonometry challenges.
Basic inspection capabilities and competence in shop math.

Physical stamina to stand long periods and handle lifting tasks up to 25 lbs.
