Job Details
Hiring Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field or the equivalent
combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the field of construction.
- 2+ years of construction cost estimating experience performing takeoffs and pricing.
- General knowledge of estimating fundamentals and conceptual estimating techniques.
- Experience estimating sitework and site utility projects.
- Able to read and understand blueprints, design drawings, geotechnical reports.
- Ability to communicate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, executives, and individuals at all
levels of the organization.
- Ability to identify and establish goals and objectives to achieve project deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized while managing competing priorities.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while exercising good judgement and strong problem-solving
skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information and data skillfully and reach sound
conclusions.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Sage/Timberline, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, ISqFt or similar
programs.
- Experience in earthwork takeoff programs such as Carlson or similar programs.
- Must possess a valid unrestricted Driver’s License.
