A Special Education Teacher position is available for the uping school year in the Concord, NH area. This full-time, contract role is ideal for educators specializing in elementary and middle school special education, seeking to make a meaningful impact on diverse student caseloads. Opportunities are also available for two full-time Special Education Teachers in Manchester, NH, serving both elementary and middle school students throughout the full school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the needs of students with special education requirements.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to adjust instructional strategies and support services.
- Manage classroom behavior in a positive and proactive manner.
- Ensure pliance with state and federal special education policies and regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school aged students.
- Strong munication and collaborative skills.
- Ability to adapt instructional practices to meet diverse learner needs.
