Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled FPGA Design Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing FPGA solutions for various applications. This role requires a deep understanding of FPGA technologies and design methodologies to create high-performance, reliable systems that meet project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement FPGA architectures for various projects
- Develop and simulate digital logic designs using VHDL and Verilog
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements
- Utilize EDA tools for synthesis and place-and-route of FPGA designs
- Conduct verification and validation testing to ensure functionality and performance
- Optimize existing designs for efficiency and reliability
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for project stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in FPGA design and development
- Strong knowledge of digital logic design principles
- Familiarity with EDA tools such as Xilinx ISE, Vivado, Altera Quartus, and Mentor Graphics
- Experience with programming languages such as TCL and Python
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
