Job Description:
\nJoin the dedicated team at Springfield Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Med Surg / Tele unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to adult patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg / Tele environment, managing a patient load of approximately 1:5.\n
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.\n
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and other advanced procedures.\n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.\n
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.\n
- Provide patient education and support to promote recovery and well-being.\n
- Assist with occasional PCU (Progressive Care Unit) responsibilities on a 3:1 patient ratio, including non-negotiable drip medication administration and charge nurse duties.\n

What You Bring:

- At least 1 year of recent RN experience in Med Surg or Tele units.\n
- Proven competency in managing IV drips and complex medication administration.\n
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and work under pressure during night shifts.\n
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.\n
\n
Preferred Education & Experience:

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN).\n
- Previous experience working in an acute care hospital setting.\n
- Experience with PCU patient care and managing complex medication regimens.\n
\n
Additional Details:
\n

- This assignment is scheduled to end on March 22, 2026, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.\n
- The hourly rate is $429.31, with a taxable weekly pay of $642.42.\n
- Holiday RTO requests are not available; all scheduling requests are already reserved.\n
- Holiday multiplier of 1.25% applies; overtime will be compensated at regular rate.\n
- Travelers must be able to work charge nurse and drip responsibilities.\n
- Please note: 48-hour notices will not be accepted for schedule changes.\n
