Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available at an elementary school in Worcester, MA, for the uping semester. This contract position offers an engaging role working with a caseload of 14-15 inclusion students, providing essential support and tailored instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Location: Worcester, MA (Onsite)
Schedule:
- Full-time, 32.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: December 23, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students in an inclusion setting
- Collaborate with general education staff to support student learning goals
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Participate in team meetings and parent munication as needed
- Maintain pliance with school policies and state educational standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts special education teaching license or certification required
- Previous school-based experience working with special education students
- Spanish language skills preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to pass CORI background check and fingerprinting (letter of suitability from previous employer may be accepted)
