Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Tool Repair & Assembly Person to join their team. As a Tool Repair & Assembly Person, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly and repair of essential tools. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Tool Repair & Assembly Person
Location: Littleton, NH
Pay Range: $19.19 per hour (based on experience)
What's the Job?
- Assemble and repair mechanical and hydraulic tools using work order routing and product drawings.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery such as drill presses and lathes to assist in the assembly process.
- Verify conformance to specifications using measuring devices and maintain quality standards.
- Fill tools with hydraulic fluid and conduct functional tests on hydraulic circuits.
- Package and prepare tools for shipment following work order routings and drawing instructions.
What's Needed?
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, and operating instructions.
- Reasonable understanding of hydraulic devices and their functions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work successfully within a team environment and contribute to problem-solving activities.
