Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. This is field-based role supporting various locations in the Columbia, SC area. The position is responsible for general maintenance, facilities management, and construction support to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all physical sites. Pay: $65,000–$70,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (some weekend work may be required)
Overtime: Available as needed
Company truck and gas card provided for work-related travel Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect, identify, and troubleshoot equipment and facility issues.
- Perform general repairs (e.g. drywall, painting, door and fixture repairs).
- Conduct routine maintenance on building systems.
- Assist with cleaning and facility upkeep.
- Plan repair work using manuals and available resources.
- Order necessary supplies and materials.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing & general repairs.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, general repairs, or a related field
