**Description:

We’re seeking a hands-on SMT Manufacturing Technician to join a growing production team in Portsmouth, NH. In this role, you’ll operate and maintain automated SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment to produce printed circuit boards for electronic assemblies. If you have a background in assembly or machine operation and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and advance your career.
**Key Responsibilities
**

Set up and operate SMT equipment, including screen printers, solder paste inspection machines, pick & place machines, reflow ovens, and conveyors

Replenish component reels using automated splicing tools

Monitor equipment performance, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate issues as needed

Hand-place electronic components on circuit boards when required

Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production equipment

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow safety and quality procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives
**Qualifications
**

High school diploma or GED
-
6+ months of assembly or machine operation experience

1 year of SMT experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a collaborative environment
