Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Worker to join our team in Dover. You will work with tool steel, cutting it down to specific specifications using various tools and machines. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with tool steel, cutting it to specific measurements.
- Use machines, hand tools, and power tools effectively.
- Read a tape measure to an accuracy of 1/8 inch.
- Lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Participate in forklift training and operations.
Essential Skills
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure down to 1/8 inch.
- Previous industrial experience.
- Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
- Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.
- Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Willingness to train on forklift operations.

Work Environment
You will work in a large, open warehouse as part of a small team of about five people. The environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with forklifts moving around frequently.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
