Cowabunga's Manchester is hiring for our busy Winter/Spring Season and beyond!
Our playplace attendants are the heartbeat of Cowabunga’s! This person is responsible for maintaining safety in our gyms, cleanliness throughout the entire facility, and ensuring all guests at Cowabunga’s are greeted warmly and have fun during their visit!
These employees must be 16 years of age due to some later evening shift requirements and kitchen equipment. Must have consistent weekend availability, but we're flexible to work around sports schedules and other commitments. (Generally, our staff works 2-3 weekend shifts a weekend; a mix between opening and closing shifts)
Main duties include greeting guests at our front desk, working our concession desk, helping in our kitchen and doing it all with a can-do attitude! Must work well as part of a team and enjoy learning new tasks. Will train every step of the way. Our staff typically stays with Cowabunga's long-term!
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to switch tasks quickly and effectively
- Greeting customers with a smile
- Communicating via phone and email
- Ability to take direction with little follow-up
- Ability to work independently
- Working under strict time deadlines
- Completing all cleaning tasks
- Effectively completing all scheduled shifts to manager’s satisfaction
- Consistently meeting all party requirements
- Performing character visits when called upon, unless excused by a doctor
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to be on feet continuously during shift
- Ability to lift 40lbs, when necessary
- Ability to jump, crawl, slide through equipment for safety checks
- Ability to work on hands and knees
- Ability to speak clearly and confidently
- Ability to climb ladders
Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Ability to pass a background check with no concerns
- Reference check(s)
- Available on most weekends and during school vacation weeks
