Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid state certification/license in Special Education.
- Proven experience working with high school students in an inclusive setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with faculty, staff, and families.
Location: Claremont, NH
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored instructional plans to meet the individual needs of students with special education requirements.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure the effective integration of students into the classroom.
- Conduct assessments and analyze student progress to inform IEP goals and objectives.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and educational staff regarding student development and challenges.
- Maintain comprehensive records of student performance and IEP documentation.
