- Administer medications and implement nursing treatment plans
- Communicate with/provide necessary information on relevant health issues to parents, guardians, and applicable Agency staff
- Hands-on nursing care for children with physical and developmental disabilities (including, but not limited to, wound care, catheters, and g-tubes)
- Review patients’ physical condition and medical needs and document changes as appropriate
- Provide guidance and support to direct care staff working alongside the LPN
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Current LPN license to practice nursing in the State of MA
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- 1-year practical nursing experience is a plus
- 1-year experience with developmental disabilities preferred
- Proficiency in delegated nursing skills
- Valid driver’s license
