PRIORITY HIRE: Civil Engineer (MWRA)
Want to be part of a generation-defining engineering project in the Northeast? CDW is actively seeking a Civil Engineer to work on the MWRA’s estimated $2.1 billion Metropolitan Water Tunnel Program. CDW’s role is to design surface connections to approximately 15 miles of deep rock tunnels to provide drinking water delivery redundancy to the Metropolitan Boston area.
As a civil engineer assigned to this project, your tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- drafting plans
- preparing engineering reports and calculations
- permit applications
- site inspections, and
- project management.
The successful candidate will also conduct other project work in support of transportation, institutions, land development, K-12 schools, and public agency facilities. Travel within the state may be required.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Years of Experience: Experience minimum of 4 years, to 15+ years
Preferred:
- Design experience in land development projects in MA.
- Experience in stormwater design and compliance with MA Stormwater Management Standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
- PE, or anticipation of obtaining Professional License.
- Experience making presentations.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and analytical skills as well as the ability to generate, interpret, and present drawings, reports, graphs, and other communications.
- Customer service focused, decisive, and results oriented.
Starting salary is commensurate with experience.The position is based in CDW’s Framingham office with flexible, hybrid work schedules available.
