We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to lead our technology operations and drive strategic initiatives that support our growing business. This position reports to our Director, Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic and operational planning of the IT department, promoting innovation and efficient resource allocation.
- Build and maintain a resilient, high-performing IT team aligned with evolving business needs.
- Develop and manage IT project requirements, budgets, and timelines, ensuring successful delivery.
- Oversee full project lifecycles—from initiation through closure—for internal and external teams.
- Identify and implement secure IT solutions that meet departmental needs and protect company assets.
- Establish and enforce security standards, procedures, and guidelines across platforms.
- Take ownership of all aspects of IT infrastructure and ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT investments.
- Manage IT staffing, including hiring, supervision, scheduling, development, and performance reviews.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of IT management and supervisory experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise computing environments, including:
- Networks: Firewalls, switches, routers, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi
- Virtualization: VMWare ESXi, VCenter
- Access Control: Active Directory, Entra, SSO
- Security: Endpoint protection, antivirus, MDR, email filtering, certificates
- Mobile Tech: Phones, tablets, laptops
- Support Tools: RMM solutions, PowerShell, VPN, RDP
- Strong leadership, integrity, and cross-functional team collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Infor SyteLine / CSI and Factory Track ERP systems
- Knowledge of Production Vision product development tools
- Programming/scripting experience (VB, C#, PowerShell)
- Microsoft SQL Server administration and reporting
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work around perfumes and fragrances daily
- Sitting for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day)
- Occasional evening and weekend work
Working Conditions:
- Primarily office-based (90%)
- Occasional support in manufacturing areas (10%) with exposure to loud machinery and physical hazards
