Mental Health Worker (MHW) 13-Week Contract Opportunity in Concord, NH

Job Details:

  • Shifts Available:
    • Days: 7 AM - 3 PM (5x8 schedule, 3 openings).
    • Evenings: 3 PM - 11 PM (5x8 schedule, 2 openings).
    • Nights: 11 PM - 7 AM (5x8 schedule, 3 openings).
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Weekend Requirement: 3 out of 4 weekends per month.
  • Float Requirements: Must be able to float as needed by unit.
  • Patient Ratio: Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 4:24.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year, preferably in inpatient nursing.
    • Attendance must be reliable, with strict adherence to scheduling.
  • Certifications:
    • No CNA or LNA certification required.
    • Must pass CPI (Crisis Management) training, including physical ponents.
  • Fit Testing:
    • Must ply with CDC guidelines for facial hairstyles for N95 fit testing. Staff must be clean-shaven when N95 respirators are required.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Pursuing a psychology degree.
  • Experience working in group homes or with mental health populations.
  • Strong customer service background with a desire to work in mental health.
