What You Bring
\n
- \n
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.\n
- Proven experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, with a solid understanding of patient care protocols.\n
- Drip therapy experience is mandatory, demonstrating competence in managing IV medications and infusions effectively.\n
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and work efficiently in high-pressure situations.\n
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.\n
- Flexibility to travel between unit types, including occasional PCU care (3:1 ratio), which is a non-negotiable requirement.\n

Preferred Education & Experience
\n

- Completion of an accredited Nursing program (Associate's Degree or higher).\n
- Previous experience working in an acute care hospital setting for a minimum of 1-2 years, preferably in Med Surg, Tele, or ICU units.\n
- Familiarity with adaptive acuity units and experience with IPCU protocols is highly desirable.\n
- Knowledge of hospital policies, patient safety standards, and documentation procedures.\n

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg / Telemetry units, including IPCU areas when required.\n
- Administer medications, including IV drips, and monitor patient responses meticulously.\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.\n
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and care activities.\n
- Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.\n
- Be flexible to support PCU care as needed, adhering to the 3:1 patient ratio during those assignments.\n
