An opportunity is available for an experienced General Education Teacher to cover a leave in a second-grade classroom at an elementary school in Waltham, MA. This contract position provides a chance to contribute to a supportive learning environment during a defined period from December 12, 2025, through March 27, 2026.

Position Details:
- Teach general education curriculum to a 2nd-grade class
- Support student learning and development during the regular school day
- Contract duration: Leave coverage from December 12, 2025, to March 27, 2026
- School hours: 8:42 AM to 3:00 PM daily
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts General Education teaching certification
- Experience teaching elementary-level students, preferably in grades K-5
- Proven ability to manage a classroom and deliver effective instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, parents, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with state standards
- Monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback and support
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with school staff to support student success
