Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 12-hour day shift Emergency Department assignment requiring pediatric care training and an active NH or compact license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital-based Emergency Department
- Care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric, excluding OB cases
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Travelers may be requested to float within the hospital
- Cerner EMR is used; experience is preferred but not required
- Weekly orientation provided for all travelers
- Permanent staff may return as travelers after a minimum 12-month break in service
- RTO must be declared upon consideration
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at the local rate

- Active NH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP
- Pediatric experience preferred, or willingness to train in pediatric care
- 2 recent references from charge or manager RNs specific to the specialty
- 3 professional references required upon offer, including 2 from leadership
- Completion of a specialty-specific skills checklist
- Verification of all active RN licenses via NURSYS
