A school in Windsor, VT is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students across all grade levels, K-12. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to promote the academic, emotional, and social well-being of students throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to guide individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop behavioral strategies and support services.
- Consult with parents and caregivers regarding student needs, progress, and resources.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
- Provide crisis intervention and mental health support as needed.
- Utilize data to assess program effectiveness and student outes.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of current laws and regulations related to special education.
Location: Windsor, Vermont
