Are you an experienced builder who knows how to lead a crew and isn't afraid to pick up a hammer? Apex Contracting is looking for a hands-on Construction Foreman to manage residential jobs from the ground up, someone who takes pride in solid work, knows how to keep a team moving, and values quality over shortcuts.
We're a local company with a long-standing reputation for doing things right. Most of our work is residentialeverything from new builds to remodels. Our clients know us, trust us, and expect high standards. We're looking for someone who fits that mindset and wants to build a career with a team that cares about what they're doing.
What You'll Do:
Lead and work alongside a crew on residential job sites
Keep jobs running on time, on budget, and to spec
Coordinate materials, tools, and daily schedules
Enforce safety and cleanliness on site
Communicate clearly with the project manager and other stakeholders
Mentor younger team members and keep morale high
Make sure the final product meets our standards before calling it done
What We're Looking For:
At least 5 years of residential construction experience
Solid carpentry and general construction skills
Proven ability to run a crew and keep things moving
Comfortable reading blueprints and job plans
Good communication and problem-solving instincts
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work 4050 hours/week (depending on project needs)
Got your own tools? Great. Not required, but a plus.
