RemX is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support CNC machinery and automation systems in a hybrid role with both in-office technical support and national travel for installations and training. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, PLC knowledge, and excels in troubleshooting while delivering excellent customer service.

Note: This position requires 20%-50% national travel

The Position

  • Perform installations, training, troubleshooting, and repairs on advanced CNC machinery, controls, and automation systems
  • 3+ years of field service or technical support experience, or an engineering/technical degree for less-experienced candidates
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with familiarity in schematics, PLCs, motion control, and servo systems
  • Travel 20%–50% nationally to perform work at customer sites
  • Provide both on-site and remote technical support for equipment and customer operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse customers and internal teams

The Details

  • Hands-on experience with CNC or other industrial machinery and familiarity with PLCs/motion control systems preferred
  • Ability to travel 20%–50% throughout the U.S. for installations, training, and service support
