Summary
The Children's Center is looking for Infant Teacher Assistant to join our team and help maintain an ideal ratio of 3 to1. This position is 32+ hours a week and requires flexibility in schedule. The position reports to the Infant/Toddler Coordinator and works well with the Infant team providing on demand care for children 6 weeks to 1year.
Duties
- Assisting Teacher care for up to 8 Infants daily
- Actively engage with children ages 6 weeks-1 year
- Maintaining a clean classroom space
- Help provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
- Following developmentally appropriate feeding schedules
- Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to childcare center.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain 18 hours of Professional Development yearly
- Ability to work within the hours of 630a- 6p, with flexibly based on classroom needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience.
- ECE credits preferred with a minimum of 3 credits in Child Growth and Development.
- High energy.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must clear full background check
