Job DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in Quincy, Massachusetts, in the detail oriented Services industry. This role will primarily involve assisting with various legal and administrative tasks, such as drafting Purchase & Sale agreements (P& S), managing client communications, and maintaining calendars.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the drafting of Purchase & Sale (P& S) documents to facilitate residential real estate transactions
• Managing and maintaining calendars to ensure smooth operations and timely follow-ups
• Providing general administrative support to the team, helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Utilizing various software tools like Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and CompuLaw for case management and other tasks
• Handling client communication effectively, addressing inquiries, and providing updates on cases
• Administering client relations, working closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction
• Performing billing functions as required, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing
• Administering claims, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate and up-to-date.• Proficiency in Aderant, a comprehensive legal software solution
• Ability to use Adobe Acrobat for document management
• Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
• Experience with Case Management Software for organizing and tracking legal cases
• Knowledge of CompuLaw, a legal calendar and matter management tool
• Capability to handle Billing Functions efficiently and accurately
• Skilled in Calendar Management, ensuring all appointments and deadlines are met
• Experience in Claim Administration, managing and processing legal claims
• Strong ability in Client Relations, maintaining positive relationships with clients
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Residential Real Estate laws and regulations
• Familiarity with drafting and reviewing Purchase Agreements.
