Job DescriptionWell-established law firm in Stoneham, Massachusetts focusing in the areas of estate planning, special needs and disability planning, probate and trust administration, elder law, guardianship/conservatorships and professional fiduciary services is looking to expand our team with a talented full-time in-office paralegal who will be integral in providing excellent legal support to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
· Provide legal and administrative support to the attorneys
· Drafting legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
· Conduct legal research on estate planning, probate, and trust administration issues.
· Assist with the probate and trust administration process, including asset identification and distribution, tax filings, and accountings.
· High level of communication with clients, courts, and other professionals in a professional and confidential manner.
· Prepare and file court documents related to estate administration, probate matters, and guardianships/conservatorships.
· Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
· Paralegal certification, equivalent formal education in legal studies or at least three years experience as a paralegal in the practice areas referenced above.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency with computer skills, general office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
