Position Summary
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of complex electrical contracting projects. This includes overseeing all aspects of project deliveryfrom being award and procurement through closeoutensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, and client satisfaction while maintaining budgetary and schedule goals.
 
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning &amp; Preconstruction
<ul>
<li>Review and finalize estimates with the preconstruction team.</li>
<li>Participate in project bid reviews, contract negotiations, and vendor selection.</li>
<li>Coordinate project hand-off from estimating to operations.</li>
</ul>
 
Project Execution
<ul>
<li>Lead all phases of electrical construction projects, typically valued at $300,000$4M+.</li>
<li>Develop detailed project schedules and work plans.</li>
<li>Manage procurement of materials, tools, and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with electrical codes, project specifications, and safety standards.</li>
</ul>
 
Financial Oversight
<ul>
<li>Monitor and control project budgets, cost forecasting, and billing.</li>
<li>Approve vendor invoices and subcontractor payments.</li>
<li>Identify and resolve scope changes and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders.</li>
</ul>
 
Team Leadership
<ul>
<li>Supervise Field Superintendents, Project Foremen.</li>
<li>Conduct regular jobsite visits and project reviews.</li>
<li>Mentor junior staff and provide performance feedback.</li>
</ul>
 
Client &amp; Stakeholder Communication
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned projects.</li>
<li>Host regular progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Resolve issues swiftly to maintain project momentum and client satisfaction.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications 
Education &amp; Experience
<ul>
<li>Bachelors degree in Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required, field experience is required</li>
<li>Minimum of 37 years of progressive experience in electrical project management.</li>
<li>Proven experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects.</li>
</ul>
 
Skills &amp; Competencies
<ul>
<li>Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction methods.</li>
<li>Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and cost control skills.</li>
<li>Proficient in project management software (e.g., Accounting software for data Procore, Bluebeam).</li>
<li>Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.</li>
<li>OSHA 30 certification preferred.</li>
</ul>
 
Work Environment &amp; Physical Demands
Primarily office-based with regular site visits. Must be able to access active construction sites (including climbing ladders, stairs, etc.)
