Summary of Position:
The Middle School at Milton Academy is seeking a Middle School girls soccer coach for the Fall season. Daily practices run from 2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m. and game days are scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays. The season begins on September 8 and concludes on November 15. There are no weekend commitments.
This is a seasonal position for the Fall 2025 school year. May be eligible for renewal depending on school needs.

**Key Responsibilities**: - Provide surf lessons for individuals and groups across all age groups and abilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for each student. - Teach surfing techniques, ocean safety, and surf etiquette. - Accurately assess students' surfing levels and customize instruction to meet their needs. - Handle and maintain all surf equipment with care. - Create a positive and encouraging space for students to learn and enhance their surfing skills.
**Requirements**: - **Years of Surf Experience**: Candidates must have extensive surfing experience and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the sport. - **Lifeguard Certification**: A valid lifeguard certification is mandatory for this role to guarantee student safety at all times. - **Availability**: Availability to work weekends is required, as these are our busiest teaching times. The position is seasonal, from spring to fall. - **Attributes**: We are looking for a responsible, surfing-enthusiast who can inspire our students. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly and patient teaching approach, and the ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and skill levels.
