Fitness Coach:
As an OTF Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for delivering scientifically predesigned workouts for up to 36 members per session. This position requires a strong ability to coach and manage time, motivating multiple clients in a group setting, and produce a high-energy and positive experience for our members. An OTF Coach must focus on a well-rounded theory of fitness, including endurance, strength, and power, using the tools given to optimize the member’s experience and results.
Fitness Coaches are leaders of the Orangetheory workouts. This requires them to be on their feet leading and instructing members for the entirety of the workout. In the weight room, coaches must demonstrate all exercises for members which can involve but is not limited to: Bosu balls, medicine balls, dumbbells, TRX, or other fitness equipment.

In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. Job Responsibilities:

As a coach at Veritas Prep you’ll help continue to build a strong sports program, developing student athletes in the areas of knowledge, physical skill, teamwork, leadership, and social and emotional growth. 
You’ll also:

<li>Develop a thorough knowledge of all the athletic policies approved by Veritas Prep High School, including state and league regulations.</li>

<li>Maintain discipline and work to increase morale and cooperation within the school sports program.</li>
<li>Assist in the necessary preparation to hold scheduled sport events or practices and adhere to scheduled facility times. </li>

<li>Monitor student athletes' grades and conduct.</li>

We are currently in need of coaches who can work a part time schedule (12-20 hours / week). Currently in need of coaches who can easily travel within the Framingham area.
Classes are scheduled in 35 minute time slots starting from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, M-F. You will be working with children ages 2-6 at various preschools throughout the area. Classes may be scattered throughout the day, but most coaches will work no more than 4-5 classes in a day.

Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Upholding the highest levels of guest and personal safety on varied terrain at high altitude, with varying</li>
<li>winter weather conditions.</li>
<li>Clearly and accurately instructing assigned levels of skiing to students, both physically and verbally.</li>
<li>Ensuring that athletes are matched to appropriate skier skill level and working with supervisors/managers to</li>
<li>make appropriate changes when necessary.</li>
<li>Assisting guests to load and unload the chairlift.</li>
<li>Clearly communicating instructions and assisting athletes during training sessions and at competitions; lifting</li>
<li>children by the vest (if applicable).</li>
<li>Supervising athletes in training at all times; ensuring return of athletes to identified guardian.</li>
<li>Assisting in operational responsibilities of competition service and related SRS programs including but not</li>
<li>limited to registration process, directing athletes to appropriate equipment fitting source, upkeep of outdoor</li>
<li>training areas, and cleanliness of facilities.</li>

Job Requirements:

<li>PSIA/AASI Level 3 and/or USSA/FIS Level 300 certification</li>
<li>High School or Equivalent Education</li>
<li>Attend Ski and Ride training sessions</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and browser applications; basic internet navigation</li>
<li>Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language (spoken and written)</li>
<li>Must have excellent guest service skills</li>
<li>Must have excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Must work well in a team</li>
<li>Must be able to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment</li>
<li>Must have sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills, follow and provide directions</li>

What You’ll Do
As a coach at Veritas Prep you’ll help continue to build a strong sports program, developing student athletes in the areas of knowledge, physical skill, teamwork, leadership, and social and emotional growth. 
You’ll also:
<ul>
<li>Help student athletes develop positive attitudes while promoting and teaching fair play and good sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork.</li>
<li>Develop a thorough knowledge of all the athletic policies approved by Veritas Prep High School, including state and league regulations.</li>
<li>Attend public/staff/departmental meetings when required.</li>
<li>Maintain discipline and work to increase morale and cooperation within the school sports program.</li>
<li>Assist in the necessary preparation to hold scheduled sport events or practices and adhere to scheduled facility times. </li>
<li>Coordinate with maintenance and school employees and provide proper safeguards for maintenance and protection of assigned equipment and sites.</li>
<li>Monitor student athletes' grades and conduct.</li>
<li>Be present at all practices and games, and while traveling, provide assistance and guidance to and safeguards for each participant. </li>
<li>Assist the Varsity coach on the bench during all home and away games.</li>
<li>Complete and submit paperwork on all disabling athletic injuries on proper forms </li>
<li>Direct student managers and statisticians on respective teams. </li>
<li>Determine discipline and delineate procedures concerning due process when the enforcement of discipline is necessary.</li>
<li>Monitor use and return of equipment, submitting an annual inventory</li>
<li>Submit team records to Athletic Director, including awards lists, all signature forms, and all scores of each competition, including post-season play. </li>
<li>Arrive early enough before practice, contests, and meetings to adequately prepare and remain long enough afterward to help players with problems or to become involved in staff discussions. </li>
<li>Plan and implement in-season and out-of-season conditioning and weight programs. </li>
<li>Perform such other duties that are consistent with the nature of the position and that may be requested by the Principal/Athletic Director.</li>

<li>Previous volleyball coaching experience (preferred)</li>
<li>Knowledge and background in volleyball.</li>
<li>If you choose to drive the Veritas Prep Activity Vans, you will be required to have a valid driver's license and a good motor vehicle driving record</li>

Benefits
COMPENSATION: Coaching stipends will be determined based on previous coaching experience, length of season, practice schedule, etc.
The Stipend Range is $3,500 to $4,322
Additionally, coaches who choose to drive and are approved will earn $25/hr for time spent driving to and from sporting events.
