The First Electronics Corporation (FEC) specializes in the manufacture of over-molded, extra flexible, multi-conductor, fully EMI-shielded cable assemblies, harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies custom built for military applications and harsh environments. FEC also produces electro-mechanical assemblies and systems for custom applications, all with no minimum quantity requirements. FEC is ISO 9001:2015 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified.
The First Electronics Corporation's Molding Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining molding machines to over-mold electrical cable harnesses and components. This position is also responsible for the assembly and manufacturing of various types of cables used in electrical and electronic systems and for ensuring the quality and functionality of the cables produced are up to standards.
The First Electronic Corporation's Molding Technician is a respectful, team-player that works well with diverse internal team members. Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience with cable manufacturing or working with rubber materials, cable types, connectors, and electrical components is desired but not required. The company will train in all duties required to perform the essential functions of the job.
Knowledge: No prior knowledge is required. Training will be provided on reading electrical schematics, blueprint drawings, and internal FEC/Trexon processes and systems. 
Skills: We look for team members who demonstrate attention to detail, patience, and manual dexterity, pride of workmanship and an ability to understand training principles for proper cable and wire manufacturing techniques.
Essential Position Duties

<li>Perform the assembly of cables according to specific work instructions, engineering drawings, or diagrams. </li>
<li>Set up and start up molding machines using appropriate rubber materials such as polyurethane and elastomers.</li>
<li>Document mold changes and machine adjustments.</li>
<li>Operate various tools, machinery, and equipment required to over-mold cable assemblies, including heat guns and molding presses.</li>
<li>Ensure proper handling and maintenance of equipment to maximize productivity and safety.</li>
<li>Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Comply with company policies and quality management systems.</li>
<li>Ensure cables meet quality standards and specifications.</li>
<li>Identify any defects or issues, such as loose connections, improper soldering, or damaged insulation, to maintain the integrity of the final product.</li>
<li>Maintain and create a clean, uncluttered environment that reduces waste and optimizes productivity by following the 5S steps: sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain.</li>

What You'll Do
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to sustain and enhance our existing hardware products - including base stations, cameras, and sensors. In this role, your expertise will be key to maintaining and improving the reliability of fielded products. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineering, manufacturing operations, sourcing, and product management, to ensure our devices perform at the highest level while continually seeking opportunities to reduce cost. A strong focus will be placed on battery efficiency and RF performance. You will work proactively to ensure these areas are not only preserved but continuously improved. Your work will span the entire system, from sensors to communications, developing innovative solutions that enhance reliability, performance, and manufacturability. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences, has a strong customer-first mindset, and brings expert-level knowledge of electrical engineering and consumer hardware development.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
