Position Overview: 
The Director, Product Quality will play a critical role in Avalyn Pharma's success by providing QA leadership and oversight of CMC operations across Avalyn and its global network of CDMOs, CMOs, and suppliers. Reporting to the Vice President, Quality Assurance, this role will ensure that Avalyn's drug substance, drug product, and combination product manufacturing activities are conducted in compliance with global cGMP requirements and aligned with Avalyn's mission to deliver innovative inhaled therapies for rare respiratory diseases. The Director will contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring inspection readiness and maintaining a culture of quality and compliance. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Tuna Cutter with proven experience working with high-grade tuna. In this role, the ideal candidate will participate in fresh tuna selection and production. Precision and consistency are critical, as tuna is one of the most valuable seafood products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare tuna processing areas by organizing tables, wrapping papers, preparing plastic bags, and cleaning racks, knives, and labels.
· Position prepares work areas for production, fulfills daily customer order and cleans/sanitizes work areas post-production.
· Selects and cuts fresh tuna from loins efficiently by wasting as little loin as possible.
· Communicates with a tuna selector for quantity to cut and quality of the tuna.
· Wrapping, packing, labeling, and icing fresh tuna according to customer specification and HACCP requirements.
· Takes care left over tuna according to company GMPs and ensures proper storage.
· Cleans/sanitizes processing area and equipment based on HACCP and SSOPs after order preparation is completed.
· Disposes of waste product.
· Assist in order fulfillment by making boxes for use in packing products and placing them designated area.
· Participates in receiving and counting products delivered by or picked up by drivers.
· Participates in restocking/organizing frozen and dry products in freezer or dry area as needed.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in cutting different species of tuna of 300+ lbs.

The Manufacturing Operator reports to the Manufacturing Line Lead and helps in performing all tasks involved in the production of various products including production tasks such as kitting of parts, cutting of tubing and polymer film, reading design drawings, performing basic and complex assembly techniques, executing detailed visual inspections, operating manual and automated machinery, and completing packaging and labeling activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the department’s safety, quality, and production goals are met. Responsibilities: • Conduct basic assembly techniques • Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard operating procedures of varying complexity • Perform detailed visual inspections on in-process and finished products • Package and label finished products • Work with a Team in a fast-paced ISO certified cleanroom environment for 8 hours a day • Perform daily housekeeping tasks as assigned • Cut tubing and polymer film to meet tolerances using both manual and automated tools. • Safely operate cleanroom machinery by closely following the standard operating procedures • Perform inventory counts and report any inaccuracies on in a timely manner • Complete documentation according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Qualifications: • 0-2 years of relevant experience • HS Diploma or equivalent • Basic arithmetic skills • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality standards • Ability to use hand tools, and equipment including repetitive forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling • Stand and move during shift, including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping • Ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds • Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to chemical hygiene • Follow all safety protocols
