Electric Department General Manager
TOWN OF LYNDON ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT General Manager Lyndon Electric Department (LED), a municipal Electric Department in northern Vermont with 6100 meters, seeks qualified candidates with seven years of progressive responsibility in leadership roles or equivalent education and experience in a public utility or comparable environment. A bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is preferred. Successful candidates must have excellent communications, strategic planning, and business management skills; experience in Vermont's regulated utility environment with knowledge of renewable energy is preferred. Willingness to participate in discussions with legislators and regulators within the state and region. Must have working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to, Word and Excel. LED offers competitive compensation, retirement, and employee benefits.
