Financial Planning Associate
Summary of position:
The Financial Planning Associate plays a key role in supporting our client advisory team and delivering exceptional client experiences for our high-net worth client base. This individual serves as the primary resource for the Senior Wealth Advisor as well as Senior Leadership team members.
As a member of the practice, this position partners closely with all aspects of our client advisory-facing resources, namely Financial Planning, Investments, Taxation, Insurance, and Estate teams. This position also serves as a key service contact with clients, responsible for attending client meetings, as well as ensuring timely follow-up for client generated action items.

Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing for and assisting with client meetings and reviews and service requests consistent with the Howe Team Service Model.
- Attending client meetings with the expectation to lead certain relationships within a short period of time.
- Entering and updating financial planning data for advisors and clients.
- Executing on internal financial planning and client service workflows.
- Assisting with implementation of financial planning and asset management recommendations.
- This position is not a sales position, nor are you expected to source your own clients.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in business, finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a junior financial planning or financial services role, including direct client contact.
- Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 licenses are preferred.
- Insurance license preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in a variety of wealth management topics including but not limited to financial planning, investment management, insurance, estate planning, and taxation.
Terms of Employment:
- Salary range to begin at $75,000+ based on your credentials, designations, and experience leading client relationships.

Location:
We are located in Braintree, MA. Face-to-face interaction is important for our team and for some of our clients. While our processes and use of technology at all stages of our relationships make us fully functional for a remote working environment, we would expect the Financial Planning Associate to spend the majority of his/her time in our Braintree office with direct contact with senior wealth advisors and/or management team.
