Warehouse Shippers and Receivers - START ASAP!! 20/HR
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain organized inventory storage and perform regular cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill orders and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software for tracking inventory and shipments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in an industrial automation or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of lean warehouse practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
