Event Chef – Plymouth, NH
Salary: $65,000–$75,000 + Bonus and Full Benefits
Join the culinary team, part of the Common Man Family, and bring your creativity to life in one of New Hampshire’s most dynamic event settings. We’re looking for an Event Chef who thrives on orchestrating unforgettable dining experiences for weddings, banquets, and offsite events.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and inspire the event kitchen team—hiring, training, scheduling, and developing staff.
- Oversee all event culinary operations including prep, production, and execution for weddings, group functions, and offsite events.
- Collaborate with Sales and the Head Chef to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain top-tier food quality, timing, and presentation while managing food and labor costs.
- Attend BEO meetings, coordinate kitchen workflow, and ensure all events run efficiently and professionally.
- Support menu planning, inventory management, ordering, and budget control.
- Foster a fun, high-energy, and professional kitchen culture.
What We Offer
- Salary: $65,000–$75,000 DOE

What You Bring
- 2–3 years of recent Event Chef or Banquet Chef experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience with large-scale event execution, cost control, and inventory management
- Positive, guest-focused attitude and commitment to excellence
