We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Bakery Manager to lead our on-site bakery at our historic, family owned farm. The role involves overseeing daily bakery operations, managing a small team and maintaining a high quality farm bakery experience for our customers. The ideal candidate has a passion for baking and local food, strong leadership skills and a commitment to using fresh, local ingredients where possible
- Oversee daily baking operations, including production, scheduling and inventory management.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste and presentation of all bakery products, meals to go and sandwiches.
- Maintain a high standard of food safety, sanitation and compliance with health regulations
- Train, supervise and motivate bakery staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Manage costs, pricing and sales strategies in conjunction with the FarmStand Manager to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with the Owner and Farm Leadership Group to align bakery offerings with seasonal farm produce.
- Support other Department Managers and collaborate with them on special events, weddings and other catering opportunities.
Qualifications.
- Previous experience in baking and bakery management
- Strong leadership, organizational skills and problem solving
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends and peak seasonal hours
- Passion for community and connection to farm life
