Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly organized Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Rockland, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position offers flexible part-time hours (30-35 hours per week) and requires a detail-oriented individual to oversee comprehensive accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial management, alongside proficiency in Sage accounting software.
Responsibilities:
• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Manage payroll operations, including timely processing and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain and oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Generate and review financial reports to provide accurate insights into company performance.
• Support human resources functions, including administrative tasks related to employee records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with management to streamline financial workflows and improve efficiency.
• Utilize Sage accounting software for day-to-day operations and reporting.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for audits and reporting purposes.• Proven experience in full-charge bookkeeping and accounting operations.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software is required.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
