A well-established agency with an outstanding reputation is seeking to hire a new Account Manager, as the current Account Manager, a longtime employee, is retiring from the family-owned agency. Located on the South Shore of Massachusetts, the insurance agency urgently requires a commercial insurance account manager to liaise with insurance companies, agents, and clients, providing quality service. This Job involves both servicing the current clients and business development in the Casualty and Property lines of Insurance.
Their responsibilities include:
- Client service: Handling routine coverage questions, problem-solving, renewals, and policy checking and binding
- New and renewal business: Preparing applications, marketing, and analyzing coverages and claims data
- Documentation: Maintaining documentation for new and renewing businesses and responding to requests for information
- Other duties: Following up on open items, invoicing, preparing proposals, and assisting with audits
- Maintaining client records: Keeping accurate records of client interactions, inquiries, complaints, and comments.
- Following up with clients: Contacting clients after initial meetings or conversations to encourage the finalization of policies.
- Monitoring insurance claims: Ensuring claims are settled equitably for both the client and the insurer.
- Developing marketing strategies: Creating strategies to compete with other insurance agents or companies.
- Understanding insurance laws: Familiarity with the specific insurance policies offered by the company.
- Excellent communication skills: Effectively interacting with clients to understand their needs.
- Strong sales skills: Persuading and closing deals.
- Detail-oriented: Accurately manage complex documentation and policy applications.
- Empathy and integrity: Building trust with clients and maintaining confidentiality.
- Good analytical skills: Assessing clients’ needs and recommending suitable products.
- Annual Salary is flexible if needed!
