The Product Merchandiser will be responsible for promoting sales and customer service activities in their assigned region. You will own the customer experience - think and act in ways that put our customers first, give them seamless options at every touchpoint, and make them promoters of our products and services. We are looking for warm, friendly people with an outgoing personality and a genuine enthusiasm for helping others. Success in this position will be defined by customer service and sampling in combination with standard sales metrics.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- 90 % local travel to retail stores and customer accounts daily to ensure customers have adequate marketing materials to support sales, maintaining sample towers, brochures, and other collateral supplies in all locations
- Passionately represent our products by visiting customers to provide product knowledge
- Set up sample tower displays at customer retail locations that generates sales through building relationships with store personnel
- Increase market share by elevating the number of displays and point of purchase (pop) materials within assigned territory; be a brand ambassador
- Collaborate with the customer service and account managers to identify and grow new customers within territory, follow up on leads, and set them up with initial retail package including samples, set up tower displays, and collateral
- Develop and promote brand awareness with all potential customers
- Update, maintain, and perform operational administrative tasks in customer database via Salesforce
- Deliver an exemplary customer experience and engage customers with friendly and professional demeanor
You’re A Great Fit If You Have:
- 3+ years of Marketing/Interior Design/Sales/Business Development experience preferred
- 1+ years stone, countertops experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with demanding deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and other WMS software
- Business-minded; good with data and has a general understanding of sales and profit growth
- Clean criminal and driving record
- A desire to grow within themselves and within the company
Physical Abilities:
- Ability to lift approximately up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, lift, and perform physical labor for multiple hours at a time
- Safely operate a motor vehicle
