Position Overview: The PCA Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Position Responsibilities: Providing support to our PCA department staff and assisting in daily office needs. Prepare assessment paperwork, file paperwork in consumer's chart, file terminated cases and make copies of all forms. Assist PCA consumers, surrogates, and caregivers with unannounced visits at GLSS.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma is required
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of computer systems, including but not limited to, Windows based software application, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to process information and resolve issues as they arise
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff members, consumers and caregivers
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential materials with discretion and according to GLSS policy and HIPAA guidelines
  • Bilingual Spanish skills preferred

Hours 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This position is fully in office.
