Job Description
New Hampshire Housing’s mission is to promote, finance, and support housing solutions for the people of New Hampshire. We have empowered over 55,000 families to achieve their dream of homeownership and have played a pivotal role in funding the development of over 16,000 multifamily housing units. Our dedicated team manages thousands of Housing Choice Vouchers annually.
We’re on a mission, and we want your expertise!
Are you skilled at managing complex loan pipelines and ensuring projects stay on track from start to finish? Do you want to use your expertise to support the development of multifamily housing across the state? If you're excited about making a difference with a mission-driven organization, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re seeking a full-time Pipeline Manager to join our Multifamily Housing Division.
As Pipeline Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial and operational flow of multifamily housing projects—from initial funding through construction and final closeout. In this role, you will:
- Exercise decision making authority to approve loans and advance them through the project pipeline. Conduct secondary underwriting reviews and provide sign-off for development projects prior to funding reservations and commitments.
- Manage ongoing project funding and requisition process during construction. Collaborate with developers to obtain requisition documentation, ensuring alignment with project approvals, eligibility, and policy requirements. Exercise diligence when reviewing payments, ensuring that funds are released only to appropriate parties for eligible costs. Serve as the primary checkpoint between external partners and internal teams.
- Maintain and update budget templates for all development projects. Identify and investigate discrepancies or cost overruns, escalating issues to appropriate parties when needed to ensure timely resolution and financial accountability.
- Coordinate with developers and the Asset Management team to ensure seamless transition from the development phase to long-term compliance and oversight.
For training purposes, the first six months of work will be in the office. Intermittent remote work available after that time.
Your experience, skills, and education should include:
- Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
- Basic proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office 365 Suite and ability to learn new software systems, as needed.
- Knowledge and understanding of State and Federal financing tools and resources that support the creation and preservation of Affordable Housing.
- Ability to review and analyze financial documents and budgets for underwriting of projects.
- Demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in financial services, accounting, or administration required.
- Experience in tax credit development preferred.
- Five years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
