Job Summary
We are seeking a Service Technician to support the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery, with a strong focus on hydraulic equipment. This is a full-time, direct hire role ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and occasional travel. The role combines on-site service, remote support, and collaboration with technical teams to ensure high-quality customer outcomes. The company is a manufacturer of industrial machinery, specifically equipment used to process hydraulic hoses and tubing.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial and hydraulic machinery
- Diagnose machine errors and determine effective technical solutions
- Provide customer support via phone, email, and on-site visits
- Lead on-site installation, repair, testing, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve service issues
- Travel to customer locations for installation, training, and support as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a service technician or mechanical technician
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20% annually, including international travel for training and installations
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience servicing manufacturing or industrial machinery
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Flexibility required during training period (alternate shifts may apply)
