Job DescriptionSalary:
Associate Program Director
The Associate Program Director will work collaboratively with the Program Director to ensure the overall quality and outcome of services offered through the Moretown Program.
Additionally, the Associate Program Director is responsible for providing information to Program Director regarding workforce trends, needs, and areas for development to assure the Program Director can support and develop organizational operations that promote the mission and vision of the organization.
A $1000 hiring bonus will be offered to the selected candidate.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Agency Policies and Procedures.
- Effectively communicate with the Service Coordinators, Team Leads, Program Director, Executive Director, and with ARIS in its role of providing business services for Upper Valley Services.
- Knowledge of budget management and data analysis. Tracking data and documentation requirements.
- Attend and participate in all meetings and training sessions as scheduled and assigned.
- Supervise (and onboard) Team Lead and DSP Manager.
- Prepare written documents in a professional and timely manner, including assisting Service Coordinators and Team Leads in the development and submission of Equity and One Time Only proposals to the Director.
- Assist with assuring all staff assigned to the program area have the training and supervision
necessary to perform their job responsibilities.
- Manage intake referrals
- Utilize the services of agency consultants as appropriate in the design and implementation of
services.
- Maintain and present a professional appearance and effective professional relationships with
coworkers.
- Other Duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- BA/BS degree required in Human Services or related field with at least 5 years of experience in the Developmental Services field with a minimum of 3 years of experience supervising direct staff.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and ability to think and act quickly to identify
creative solutions to complex problems.
- Strong writing skills; able to write quality positions, audit reports, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to negotiate and influence without authority.
- Ability to supervise others effectively and productively as needed.
- Effective computer skills and data management.
Physical Demands:
- Routine demands of an office-based environment with some remote capabilities.
Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to various meetings and other job-related functions.
- Requires approximately 30% travel.
- Valid drivers license, access to reliable transportation, insurance meeting the Agencys standards,
and ability to travel to meet the demands of assigned tasks.
