We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Procurement Specialist – Travel and Event Management to lead the management of corporate travel services and events. This role is critical in optimizing travel spend, ensuring policy compliance, and enhancing the traveler experience across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in travel procurement, vendor management, and data-driven decision-making to support a dynamic and global workforce.

Your impact:

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

  • Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations to identify cost-saving opportunities and service enhancements.
  • Lead sourcing events for travel services and events, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance requirements.

Contract Negotiation & Management

  • Negotiate commercial terms, service-level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) with travel and event vendors.
  • Manage contract lifecycles, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policy standards.

Vendor Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for travel suppliers and TMCs.
  • Monitor supplier performance through regular business reviews and performance scorecards.
  • Resolve service issues, escalate concerns, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze travel spend, usage patterns, and supplier performance using procurement and travel data tools.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to inform stakeholders and support strategic decisions.
  • Identify trends and anomalies to recommend cost-saving and efficiency improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with internal stakeholders across departments and regions to understand travel needs and align procurement strategies.
  • Provide training and support on travel tools, policies, and best practices.
  • Act as a change agent to drive adoption of preferred travel programs and tools.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years focused on travel category management.
  • Proven track record of managing global or regional travel programs and vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and travel systems (e.g., Concur, Egencia, Amadeus).
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
