Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.

The LCE Directorate and Patriot ED R&R Program is looking for a full-time Patriot R&R Spares Lead to provide business and technical support for repair of Battery Replacement Units (BRUs) and spares provisioning. In this role you will work in an integrated team environment within the Patriot Engineering Services Memorandum management of Patriot Ground Equipment repairs and spares provisioning for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). This is an opportunity for a candidate with applicable engineering, supply chain, and logistics background.

What You Will Do:

Track and manage all BRU level repairs and spares for Patriot ED R&R Program

Direct supply chain and logistics to support the execution of repairs and repair material

Monitor repair and spares budgets and schedules; obtain management approvals

Prepare and present repairs and spares metrics, status, technical issues, and recommendations at weekly meetings

Determine best path of induction for repair items using Raytheon factories, Raytheon depots, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)

Understand Raytheon policies and procedures for handling Government Furnished Material (GFM) and engineering material

Implement continuous process improvement techniques for improving repair turnaround time and database management

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience

2+ years’ experience with management of depot-level repairs, spares production, or logistics systems

Experience with technical documentation such as drawings and specifications

Experience with ALCS and PRISM databases

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

Patriot experience as related to handling government property

Knowledge and application of logistics principles

Procurement process knowledge

Experience preparing and presenting project status to internal customers

Experience developing, analyzing, and reporting metrics related to spares and repairs

Team player with demonstrated ability to effectively work as part of a small team

Demonstrated ability to influence through teaming and collaboration

Knowledge of Common Product Data Management (PDM)

Active DoD Secret Clearance

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
