Job Title: Shipper/ Receiver
Shift: M-F 1st Shift
Shift: Flexible hours 6:30-7am start time ending at 3-3:30 flexible for a later start time but needs to be consistent with schedule
Notes:
- No PIT operation required
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and tracking all outgoing shipments.
- Verifies correct parts/materials received matching to packing list.
- Wraps and packs components for shipping.
- Create and maintain a safe professional work area.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, safe operation of all equipment, proper use of personal protection equipment and good housekeeping practices.
- Use software to prepare, track, check, prioritize and route orders.
- Manage all important documents such as advanced sales orders, pick slips, bills of lading.
- Help coordinate and process returns.
- Inspect labels, barcodes, packaging materials and other fearers of completed orders.
- Help coordinate and process returns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of shipping or receiving preferred.
- International shipping experience
- Must have experience with DHL, and dealing with FedEx and UPS
- Skilled in ERP system, Microsoft office (especially Excel)
- Organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, team player.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
