Position Overview:
The Granite YMCA is seeking a passionate Operations Director to oversee and support staff in various roles, including kitchen, maintenance, nursing, farm, and administration. This leadership position works closely with the Camp Director to ensure smooth operations and a positive camp environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruiting and training support staff.
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance.
- Maintain staff morale and discipline.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Maintenance Director on staff evaluations.
- Promote YMCA’s Character Development program and positive inter-camp relations.
Schedule: June 10th- August 16th, Room and board provided.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in outdoor education or camping services preferred.
