The Document Control Specialist supports documentation control. The role is key to information flow between engineering and operations and configuration management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and highly organized, and will be a champion of engineering workflows and documentation control.
Essential Functions:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to process document requests, approvals, and archiving. Create and drive approval of documentation such as Engineering Change Notifications and Purchase Order Requests.
- Support efforts to digitize engineering documents and information.
- Support MRP/ERP (Manufacturing, Engineering Resource Planning) tasks: engineering part maintenance, part number, BOM, and Routing, and contract review.
- Perform related tasks and other duties as assigned to support engineering goals and business objectives.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Adobe and Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills (interfacing with multiple people/personalities)
- Associates Degree
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Experience with PLM and ERP systems (Macola)
