Located in South Natick, MA
Salary: $20-$24/hour
Our client, a family owned and operated manufacturing company, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team!
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at problem-solving. While specific equipment experience isn't required, patience and a strong ability to tackle challenges are essential.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Can be flexible after training)
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
- Operate EDM (electrical discharge machine) and EC tube cutting machines to cut tube and wire parts to specified lengths or with features (slots, holes etc)
- Learn to program machine using text/numeric based computer (HMI) interface and setup jobs on own (Company will train)
- Prioritize tasks based on job documentation
- Perform basic troubleshooting of the parts
- Confirm finished product meets dimensional and visual characteristics required
- Complete all required paperwork
- Measure (using micrometers), inspect and count products
Qualifications, Skills and Experience of the Machine Operator:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Good computer skills - Experience operating EDM machine a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Dexterity/hand skills (must be ok with getting dirty)
- Ability to problem solve
- Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
