Summary of duties and responsibilities

The scope of the Branch Operations Manager role is responsible for overseeing daily operations at a local branch, ensuring efficient service delivery, staff management, and customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating field and administrative teams, managing workflow and resource allocation, monitoring branch performance metrics, and implementing company policies to maintain operational standards. The Branch Operations Manager also collaborates with sales, technical, and corporate leadership to support branch growth, resolve escalated issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Duties include but are not limited to the following: coordinates projects and activities for sales and marketing services

  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and on-time service delivery.
  • Supervise and support field and administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to align operational execution with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Ensure branch compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.

Experience:

  • 5 to 7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the security, alarm, or field service industry.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Experience with scheduling, logistics, and resource planning systems
  • Strong background in compliance and safety protocols, particularly in regulated service environments.
  • Other job duties as assigned

License/Certification

  • Massachusetts “D” license preferred
  • Electricians Journeyman “B” or System Technician “D” license, or equivalent in other states preferred.
  • Manufacturing Certifications and/or training, Industry Certifications preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Mass security Clearance preferred


Education requirement:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a Related Field (Preferred)

  • Manual dexterity and sitting are required in carrying out own responsibilities (i.e. use of personal computers).
